Breaktime uses Google sign-in to establish an account. Google provides us with your name and email address. We do not store your Google password or Google access and refresh tokens.

To operate the service, we store your email address, chosen username, display name, About Me text, account timestamps, terms acceptance, application sessions, and basic sign-in and security records. Your username and About Me text are shown to signed-in users through chat profiles.

Chat messages are stored for up to seven days, along with their timestamps and room information. A background cleanup removes older messages. Live room presence is held in memory while users are connected and is not kept as a permanent activity history.

We use this information to provide accounts, profiles, chat rooms, authentication, security, moderation, and the basic operation of Breaktime. We do not use it to build a social feed or sell personal information.
